North Tyneside 10k Road Race 2020 Only 129 days to go!
The North Tyneside 10k Road Race has been rescheduled to our regular Easter Sunday date - 4 April 2021. Anyone with an existing place will automatically have an entry for the new date and don't need to take any action. Refunds are available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Any refunded places will be released for purchase as soon as possible.
One of the most scenic running events in the UK, the route takes in a working Fish Quay, the River Tyne, Tynemouth Priory and Castle, and a long stretch of coastline before finishing at St. Mary's Lighthouse in Whitley Bay.
The event is organised by North Tyneside Council and is supported by Bernicia Homes, Start Fitness and Greggs.
2019's winning times were 32m 36s (male) and 38m 31s (female). The overall course record stands at 30m 26s.
The event uses chip timing and participants will receive their result by text message. Video clips will also be available.
Runners will receive a goody bag with race t-shirt at the finish line.
