Race Day information
Free on-street parking is available on Chearsley Road and Chilton Road. Additional parking is available at the Recreation Area of the park and at the village square. Please do not park on the High Street, as this is easily congested and will be full of pedestrians.
Registration is at Church House on the High Street, just opposite Burts Lane, between 9:00 and 10:00am. Runners who have booked online will be able to pick up their numbers inside. Runners wishing to pay on the day will need to bring £10 cash. There is a cashpoint in the village shop on the Square, just at the southern end of the High Street.
There are male and female toilets at Church House which can be used for changing. You are welcome to leave bag in Church House while you're racing, just ask at the registration desk.
The race starts at St Mary's Church, just a short walk up the High Street. Follow the signs and leave plenty of room at the start for other pedestrians who may be trying to get to Church on time! We'll have a race briefing at 10:25 which will include a few points about safety on the course, and we'll start the race at 10:30 with a special peal of bells courtesy of our friendly local bellringers.
The race ends at St Mary's Church, where we will have our officials taking times and numbers down and giving out our specially-commissoned medals. Once you've finished, feel free to cheer everyone else in, or make your way back to Church House for some much-needed refreshments.
There will be food and drink for sale at Church House, including hot and cold drinks and cakes. If you need cash, there is a cashpoint in the shop in the village Square just down the road.
We will write out everyone's times and pin them up in Church House once the final runners come in. Our officials will also post everyone's times on this website later in the afternoon.
