Starting at 10:45 on Central Promenade, the race follows an out and back route along the promenade with a loop around the village of Hollym. The finish at the Pier Towers is conveniently central.
Runners must be 15 years or older on the day of the race.
Prizes of Â£75, Â£50, and Â£30 awarded to 1st three men and 1st three women. 1st place in 5 year age groups from M40 to M70 and F35 to F65 each receive Â£20 prize money.
All 5 mile finishers receive fish and chips and technical T shirt.
Parking available in the town centre car parks. These can get busy so try to arrive early.
Baggage and valuables can be left at the manned baggage van.
Toilets but no shower facilities.

There is a road closure at 4 miles to allow safe crossing of the road. This must be opened at 11:45 i.e. 1 hour after the start. If you are not at this point by the the time the road opens you may continue the race but assume full responsibility for your own safety.
Under UKA rules headphones, earphones and similar devices are not permitted.
We like to support disabled athletes so deeply regret that the constraints of the course mean that the race is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
