Event Information

Now in it's seventh year, V3K Half (Vegan Carneddau) crosses all but one of the Carneddau mountains over 3,000ft. Approx 13.1 miles with 1,100m of ascent Vegan Carneddau Half Marathon route takes in most of the last section of V3K. Starting next to Llyn Ogwen in the wonderful Ogwen Valley the route climbs Pen yr Ole Wen via the track leading to Glan Dena then over Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn, Foel Grach, Foel-fras, Carnedd Gwenellian (marked Carnedd Uchaf on older maps) and down into the fabulous Hendre Hall nar Bangor to enjoy live music and excellent vegan food, and dancing if your legs can manage it :-)

There will be marshals along the route, the route is marked but there is no aid station. However, you need to be a competent navigator: If its a clear day when you reach the top of your first mountain you will see most of the route ahead. But if the cloud comes down then the Carneddau are renowned for being tricky.

Runners must remain vegan for race day.

Anybody dropping litter will be disqualified.

Runners must remain vegan throughout the day.

For 2019 we're joining up with Eat Out Vegan Wales who are holding a Vegan Beer festival at the finish! Camping for the Friday and Saturday can be booked at registration, camping places are limited.
