The Farnham Weyside Rotary Marathon Committee are doing extensive work to try and keep you safe. We intend to organise the marathon in some format following Government guidelines which change almost daily. We are planning to deliver an event that is enjoyable and fun. The event will not have a mass start but, at present, timed slots are planned. We are determined to allow you to run the same beautiful course, the routes for the half and full marathon will be fully signed as in previous years. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer t-shirts or chip timing (hopefully we can do manual timing). Medals will be supplied Thank you to those who have already signed up, all proceeds go to local charities. If you chose the t-shirt option when you signed up, please get in touch so that we can, if you wish, refund the £5 charge for t-shirts. Please feel free to enter – keep safe.
Our Refund Policy
In line with many major events, we do not allow refunds or deferrals. Entries are transferable to another runner* or between events (at extra cost if a higher entry fee would have applied) up to 4 September. After that date transfers will only be allowed in special circumstances at the discretion of the organiser. *Transfer of entry to another runner can only be actioned online - by the original entrant signing in via a link on the event entry website up to 10th Sept 2020 as per instructions in the entry confirmation email.
